In November 26th The Youth ecological center in collaboration with international organization ACT Central Asia will hold a seminar concerning adaptation to climate change, reduction of vulnerability of farms and poor communities in Tajikistan. Nowadays these questions are actual and require deeper analyzes of local farmers and public.

Participants of the seminar will exchange experiences on adaptation to climate change, such as various agro technologies, methods of improvement of soils fertility and effective plant watering, struggle against the soil drought and erosion, building of solar greenhouses, power effective furnaces etc.

Nowadays examples of using natural resources became very popular among the Tajik farmers as well. Most of these practices and examples are simple and they do not require big capital investments, but they have good economic and ecological benefits.

The press-service of the Youth Ecocenter informed that for more implementation of adaptable measures both at the level of local communities and at the level of national participants of the seminar, practical recommendations will be designed. Source: www.khovar.tj
